In September of 2020, the beautiful Emily Campbell, a former student, violinist and actor with an incredibly promising career died suddenly. This was a huge loss to all who knew her. Shortly after she passed away, I wrote a short piece for violin and piano, which was premiered at the Tchaikovsky Festival in St Petersburg, in November 2020.

In August of 2021, we recorded Emily’s piece with Lara Hall (violin) and Katherine Austin (piano) both former teachers of Emily.
